arms push the clay side wise
under the press. Here the
press punch the clay into the
mold, Nine molds when
machine is in operation.
6 bricks are made at a time
in each mold. Here a man
clears the mold and brings
it to right and left as
necessary to loosen the clay in the mold.
Another man fetches up mold,
puts it on the turn table
revolving wheel, places its
side against pallet board,
clamps the molds and gives
brick in pallet board. Then
to put mold in order,
Here the mold is pushed thru
the sand, And on the other
a man picked up the mold
& puts it once more in the
machine. The sand is clean
fine Cincinnati fine.
white. 9 pallet boards with
bricks are traded on truck,
and then they are wheeled
to rack. They stay there
off by about 5 or 6 racks,
th day. between 6-9 days.
Next to are set up in the
kilm, and a fire made
on the 4-5 days. Onest
red heat 3-4 days, while

to cool.
