206. Southern Brick and Tile Co, & 1st clay pit, Residual Permian clay containing chert clumps wit Marmatia entabulata. Cr millin brick; 3 in. to 12 inch tile, 618 Park Ave., Louisville, Ky. 207) Silurian with Halgerta lyellia, Strombodes up to 480 at least. 208) Drilled me up to 522. No good evi- dence of any of my being Permian but doubt I know. Or one it seemed Silurian. Farmers say no black slate struck in wells, only limestone looked above 540, 209) Lyellia up to 520. 210) Conchidium beds with radiating gelication. Limestone from com- mence up to 509 & just south of S. Red Heart Cement No limestone on top of ridges in wells. 211) In this neighborhood our slate is struck in wells on ridges, 212) Barretton road & W J B neckel, Top of Silurian with Halgertonia to 485 overlaid by Permian crabs and gregaria. 213 Black slate or residual limestone at 618, west of James house, near home on Smith, 214) 665 = oolitic top of gannel with 11ft of Waldron above, rest of Waldron not present owing to weathering. 215) oolitic top of gannel at 649: strong southward dip, 216) Lyellia up to 700, 217) Quarry in Louisville L. 218) Strombodes Cheeca Stratum, or 'im at about 710.
