NE of Forks of Road from Black Bridge to Poplar Grove School house. 208 85 623 Doverian shingle, at 788 Louisville Limestone = 30 ft ? Top of Waldron at 678 Does the Louisville limestone thin out eastward? 10. Silurian up to 690 certain, No evidence of Doverian up to 712. 11. Doverian shelled 761 about a mile and a half east of Poplar Grove School house. 761 125 625 Bennetsville July (12) Doverian chert at 762 at 34 mi. NW 1/4 town in Poplar Grove on structure jute. Base of Waldron is at about 712. Hence thickness of Doveri vile here is about 38 ft. It again suggests thinning to the Bennettsville Limestone far to the East ? (13) On south sided valley, Waldron clay = 13 ft, well exposed. Doverian chert is found out 17 ft farther. Therefore Doverian away from bank than 30 ft above Waldron clay or at 12 as far as exposures are now shown. (14) Chert was exposed at 6 26, 2ft9in, upper brown clay, 16 1/2 ft lime & sand clay, 5 1/2 ft bry. limestone, 4 ft large Micropora. 12 in Silurian Doverian chert. 14 mi. transition. 28 ft medium marlstone 20 ft thin shelled Mediam, fossilifer, widely Hibbertella & syngrana, but also Silexellomera, Strept. retusa, Drepanorhina separa very large & get fossils 8 ft above bank w/ other clams at same level but not abundant about 2 ft.
