Photo'd taken from road south of where road to Miami City turns off, N of College Hill looking east across Pineyplains towards Bay City. 67 A North of College Hill N of where road clearly turns off to Jackson Ferry, 17½ ft Devonian upper part on, 5" clay 6½ft thin li with wacr from 2' 5½" clay, no fossils noticed, 6 in limest = 2" ft Layer now with strong faunericidal markings, 8½" clay, intercal. 7½"ellowish cl. with Shucklamden at top, estimated thick- ess {2 ft 6" Plumm creek clay 3" limestone 6" clay 6" clay + limestone} 66 B. No side of valley N of College Hill 1ft like blue oolitic rock, 9 in black shale 3ft limrock with canada gallcom m's 4ft chert abundant, corals 2½ ft white crin. limestone with 10 ft light from massive Devonian fossils few, Dr Spring has within 2 ft of face. 60 S A wacr, south of street, 50p hills, 11"ft base of Devonian 7½ ft Wacr limest oner 18 in. 2" ft layer. 13 ft Estell clay, 5½" thin bedded shelly cl & cl, 3ft 6in rather heavy telloviscl, 6ft intervaal shelly Plumm creek c 2½ ft White pudding lage. 1ft large crinoid headon f reeke.
