During the afternoon, I went to Fort Point and Krewik Lake to check on bird conditions in general. The evening was spent in preparing specimens. Weather forecast - moderate wind. 3 August Barrow, Alaska -> Point, Alaska Departed at 1000 for Beechey Point and Graves Island off the coast. We landed on Coth Dolan (4 mi N of Beechey Point) and walked around for about 30 minutes. The vegetation here was quite similar to that near Nunivak and other shore communities.
