9 July Barrow, Alaska
were checked at 0800 and again
at 200. Afternoon, the sound
suggested all activity. The ice
remained away from the coast except
for small chunks.
10 July Barrow, Alaska.
The traps were checked in Luth's truck at
0800 and 2000. The morning was spent
in setting more traps in an intensive
trap-and. The trapper was very talky
to Dr. Pruitt from Univ. of Alaska and
a short trip out to A.A.S. The
winds have diminished and now on a
light breeze now blowing. The
sun was out intermittently today.
11 July Barrow, Alaska.
Traps checked during the morning and now
[illegible] were collected in the late afternoon.
The weather today now cloudy with
a sw, nw or w. wind. The ice
flow war at the horizon in the late
morning.
