Bertese- Results on Material
from Vacuum Insect sampler.
23 June Barrow, Alaska
1) Polygon Top: 2 sq.ft. samples taken at random from
the top of 5 polygons near the top of the ridge.
The sampler was held in place for 30 sec.
Sample 1 is from 10 sq.ft.
2) Trough: 2-sq.ft taken in troughs in 5 different
troughs - are ~ 60!. Again 10 sq.ft
as the net and sampled.
3) Slope. - 10 sq.ft Sample taken - same as
above ~ slope near S-C area.
