Very few birds have been seen this year. Dry lake has over two ponds which are pretty good.
The mud is exposed around the sides to a small flat. Red-Plovers were feeding there.
The tundra itself has very little shorebird life now. Occasionally a pectoral or phalarope will be seen in the wet places but only seldomly. The courts is still present in the troughs and not 1 The ponds are still full. The weather today has been cool (23° this morning - 32° during the day).

Checked traps & wrote notes in the morning & processed birds & lemmings in the afternoon. In the evening The traps were checked. This morning the ground was covered with 1" snow, & the temperature was around 30°. Snow continued through the morning - but quit by eleven
