Weather overcast and moderate S.E. wind. The area is still covered with snow, and the wind is making matters worse by couring the areas which were exposed to become covered by drifting snow. Longspurs and buntings are still abundant - no songs or other breeding activity was noted (except 2 buntings in the village).
