21 July Barrow = Kerooite, Alaska
The lack / water this year seems
hem really important. The fundre is
stilt relatively dry + on the
ridge tops where it is specially
dry, The vegetation is taking large
to recover. The primary Vegetate
in these ridges is the willow
with occasional patches / Petalites.
The weather for the past 2 ½ week
has been warm + generally
sunny. For This day then was
Cool weather with light rain
but it had little effect. The
slough draining into Sret lagoon
is dry [Through Voti's Area] + many
The puddles & shallows gone. We
now dried up

During the morning specimen were
prepared and notes written. In
the afternoon, a short trip was
made to Central Marsh & The bears
ridge to check nests. Weather
warm + sunny with fog in the
late afternoon and evening. In
the evening, more specimens were
prepared.
