37. Holmes, R. 1960 Journal 11 July Barrow, Alaska The morning spent working & notin + specimina. In the afternoon, Pieper, Miller, Warner and I went out to the Centuly plot (directly south of The B.R. between Wolbisebloy + Colorado Sloughs), and set out The 2 new traplines + the traps. In the evening, Made and I weighed The owls at nests 2 and 3. The weather today was cold + windy. 17 July Barrow, Alaska The morning was spent by checking the traps + going to The mouth of Colorado Slough + around. In the afternoon, I went south through the country east of The Gosline and then over to Llenoville where I made a quick census of the plot. The weather today was warm + sunny. In the evening, I photographed The owl at Wind nest #12. 18 July Barrow, Alaska Checked traps again + drove around in the area between Wolbisebloy & Colorado Slough. There was
