Drive to Uth's Area, Footprint Lake + The
North end / Denmark This morning.
The snow cover is still fairly
continuous. In Uth's Area saw / the
high plots are exposed; there were
only a few squares were seen.
Lemmings were abundant; numerous
individuals could be seen on an area [in square- 15x20 ft had
14 lemmings grazing in. The spot at my time).
They were even common in the floor /
Footprint lake where several individuals
were seen and the snow was heavily
out. Jogan were present throughout
the area, and many appeared to
be settled. No foxes were seen.
During the afternoon, The beach ridge,
gasline ridge, Wohlschloz Slope +
Arbo, whatever was checked. The
same story held true for lemmings here
as mentioned above. They could be
seen running everywhere. (The weather
today in an overcoat with a
cool westerly wind blowing).
Several flocks of order were
seen (150, 16, 2 + occas. individ) flying
Southwest as tendex. Spec called to the [illegible].
