Holmes, R. 1954 Journal 47. 31 August Barrow, Alaska than in the previous trapping period Runways and burrows are well defined through use. Lab work was completed in the morning, and a trip was made to Footprints Lake during the afternoon. 1 September Barrow, Alaska Traps were checked during the morning and evening. Lab work was low during the remainder of the day. The weather was poor with low fog and strong S.E. wind. 2 September Barrow, Alaska Traps were checked in Umiat Area during the morning and were picked up in intensive Renwoe Plots C + D (Beach Ridge) during the afternoon. Work was continued on the Umiat material. 3 September Barrow, Alaska More work was done on the specimens from Umiat, and Carol's specimen were prepared for shipping. Voth's Area and the area south of there were visited (briefly due to weather difficulties). More
