Thin bedded clayey limeate above Irregularly bedded clay rock belw. 9 ft. Thin bedded clayey limestone Beatrice 2 ft 4 in. Massive limestone. 8 ft 2 in. Limestone & Clay with some fossils. 0 Orthis lynx typical, abundant. 21 ft. Orthis lynx and Ambl. Casei in blue l. rubble. Lynx bed appar- ently not thicker than 30 ft. Expe- cure two interruptions below for study. 86 ft Not well exposed along pike, but the lower 30 ft. fossils for us on hill side on W. side of pike. Strphomena plana convexa. at base of section. 29 1/4 mi. N. of Balltown. Corniferous. Lawell. Considerable thickness. 74 1/2 mi. S.W. of Balltown. Tip of Lannel not seen. 22 ft {Lanrel { Good limestone. 27 1/2 ft. Ozgood clay, Dip 5 in crease. 23 ft measured vertically! Lama 6 1/2 feet = massive. 2 mi. Trace of thin bedded layers. 5 1/2 feet partly bed below, weathering soft. 6 feet rather massive. Madison? 13 feet weathering soft with Orthis and fossils near the middle. 1 foot. Coral bed.
