[TOKO] - Common on slopes and by rives.
Tree, 15m, 50cm dbh. Bark red - chocolate brown w/ light brown lenhols. Inner bark fibrous light brn, wood yellow brn. Bttrees to 3m up, 2m out, thin. Frts light green
15 cm diam, strongly spined. Fth 2-5 lobulate,
4 cannon, many w/ 2-7 in evidence of
abated bttles. Seed wrapped i buttery and
very tasty yellow aril. Seed white in X-section
except for yellow-brown embryo. [Fruit & floral]
. Said to be eaten by bear and pig, hunters
man get them first.

widely vertically fissured. Inner bark red
w/ slight white-yellow sap (strium w)
yellow flecks, 10x8 cm and beaked.
Smell strongly of mango. [645m]
