Aug. 31 Bolinas Lagoon: 1 h.o.; ~100 unident. dowitchers present
Sep. 2 Bay Bridge Toll Plaza, Alameda Co., Calif.: 2 + 20 unidents.
Sep. 14 North end Salton Sea, Riverside Co., Calif.: 5. heard
Sep. 16 Tia Juana R. Valley, San Diego Co., Calif.: 3 heard
Sep. 18 Moss Landing, Monterey Co., Calif.: 15 - heard
Sep. 21 Pescadero Marsh, San Mateo Co., Calif.: 15- heard
Sep. 23 Monterey area, Monterey Co., Calif.: 5 (call) rocky intertidal Pt. Pinos Pescadero Marsh: 10+ in freshwater marsh (call). Some were in flock of long-billeds - normally these species don't seem to flock together.
