1413 2.V. Remsen Savannah, Ga. White-throated Sparrow Oct. 10 Savannah : I saw of these ; 10 miles north and west of town, before I entered the city. They were seen in company with a pair more or less mixed up with other birds at the same time. I think I have seen them once near the city limits. No. 11 Savannah : although I thought I had passed some good barbs for this month, I was surprised to find them so common here again. They were found in pairs and sometimes three together. One pair was observed on a tree near the river bank, another was seen flying over the marshes, and one more was seen on a branch of a large willow tree.
