Remsen, J.V. 1973 Northern Parula Parula americana Sep.6 Mines Rd., Alameda Co, Calif: 1& at milepost 14.7 foraging in a blue oak above a willow thicket with standing pools of water - surrounding habitat was blue oak- digger pine; spotted by Joe Morlan. First located here on Aug.12 by Art Edwards, Paul Lehman. and found again on Sep.5 with a ? by Art. we watched it for 5 minutes, from a distance of about 30 feet. as it foraged at eye level.
