125. Exposed from near top of hill
(within 20 feet) and here are found
[illegible] limestone in the Platts
Formation.
Near at 125 are some richly forested
forests dangers.
126. Highest land carries loose red
sandstone along road, with full
sections of Marysville limestones
as far as locality 28 and
thence eastward as far as
the east terrace.
127 From Standford to 127 frequently
formations of argillaceous rock
resembling Richmond. At 127,
a small outlying Chinta, on a few yards across, beyond which
bottomland is Richmond again.
It lay a mile W of Med Creek
church. The Black slate comes
in and embraces J M as the church.
Mr Formby is planted by the
Chinta m, only lithologic re-
sentlance.
128. At this locality there is some
surety the rock whose lithology
closely resembles the Chinta. Richmond
beds exposed near eastward, but no
formations of Marysville seen east-
ward for quite a considerable dis-
tance.
129. At this locality there is abundant
Richmond rock along the railroad
and thence eastward along the
road up the hill,
along the creek, part of 129, leaving
Marysville rock with Old Pt. Fmndi,
are exposed, dipping slightly
down creek southward, and last
strongly eastward. One proba-
bly is but a local dip, but it will
cause the strata to rise rapidly
southward. Between these two beds
the Antrim should show up
but is not seen. On another
dip evidently will carry the
Marysville bed or creek level with
200 ft N of the bridge.
From locality 129, go south one mile
and take road east to May
wood, along this road the rocks
- Richmond, dip strongly west.
During from May wood south a
mile like that I said before,
lithologically like Chinta shows
up at angle in road 1/5 mile
south of May wood, midmost
Richmond and Welles it.
Several parallel rock depressions
occur in the Richmond and half a
mile south of Maywood,
