Farm hrs 45 down to bridge str Coryville is represented by fine grained and argillaceous limestone with very few fossils, from the base of the section the rock is more shaly.- Gate Massive argile, limestone 5\frac{1}{2} ft. Natural unknown. (16\frac{1}{2}ft shale bed.) Bridge level 828 U.S.G.S. 2673 4 ft. Dintural Note 5\frac{1}{2} ft. Shale layers + harder beds. 1\frac{1}{2}ft. Fossils fair. 5\frac{1}{2}ft Orthologychula abundants <817 U.S.G.S 15 ft. Intermix Covered here. River level, 113. A good argillaceous limestone exposure about 11 feet below road level at road angle. Top at 885 U.S.G.S., No fossil zone visible 109. Road corner 957 partially. U.S.G.S. 56 ft including Anilcium at base. Leptaena's. new base 1901 U.S.G.S 5 ft drive eroded limestone. 878> 7ft shale bed. \frac{1}{2}ft partly exposed but Coryville, Pl. Ponderosa 16\frac{1}{2}ft arg. & Coryville down part filled 5\frac{1}{2}ft shales Gate? Creek. 114. Church level top of hill Grant am 27\frac{1}{2} ft interval. Base of Milky fossiliferous section with Plati. ponderosa, not known below Underland & Lang Coryville sections. Base of Mt. Adams estimated at 965 judging from cut on line = rather a lesser number. 115. Quarry W Grant, clay spalling rock regarded as Lower half of Ordovician. 116. Road level. 18 ft natural. Leptaena 3ft drive eroded <945 U.S.G.S. 7\frac{1}{2}ft argillaceous shale (thinning) 6 ft butt Anilium Pl. ponderosa Coryville arg limestone 982 - 172 - 903 - 18 = 745
