46. Mayville, Plat. panderi rarest
common in an argil. limestone.
Quarry is about 10 ft deep, 970 ft. U.S.G.S.
reading [illegible] using barometer.
and therefore subject to error.
47. Arg. Placene rock, apparently with
Plat. panderi but no good fossil.
48. At 894 about, U.S.G.S. Plat. panderi
Dalmarella accidentalis + one Weberill,
sinmata. Apparently also are
Prasopna. Regarded as Mayville.
49. Fairmount quarry, Stephomena
mayorillensis abundant,
50 Fairmont, Stephomena mayorillensis
abundant!
51. On summit S of 51, is Devonian
chert, with Plat. lyracmired w/chert
at base as though the Devonian
lime had rested directly on the
Upper Mayville.
North of 51, is typical Eden
with Plat. and [illegible] common.
Dalmarella common out
in a few layers, rare elsewh.
Stephomena Halli rather rare,
Prasopna sinata abundant.
Eden section about 50 ft.
Fault between Eden + Mayville
perhapsly E+W, in dir. generally
S.W.

52. Eden with 2 specimens of Primu-
clens, also Plct. crummites ?
Dalmarella,
Rather numerous limonites,
on both sides of the road.
53. Top High Bridge in the Vanuxemia
in chert at top, also Orthni
large specimens. Must be the
lower Mayville bed. Above
this is the basal part of the Carbon
will not well exposed.
At 885 i top of High Bridge,
U.S.G.S.
54. High Bridge top occurs at a same level
= 885 U.S.G.S., in woods along its
road before reading 54.
The lime vein at 54 is much more
nearly but this main vein is slightly
runs a little east of north, but
not straight, a little zinc bleas
is associated with the limete.
The High Bridge + Lexington
run west of the river. The counter
rock east of this vein was not
exposed at time of visit.
55. Lexington l. quarry, w/ith
Ptychostraea megnivalve rare
Webastella boralis my mi.
