76 P4 Pleasant! George Jerry Delaney Swickton, Betne Walnut Bmlder ledge about 4 feet above the water. 2-3 foot Dark ladye. Only one ledge of bluder lidge that was worth quarrying, about 6 in thick, it is as good as ledges below About 3 n 4 foot ledges bellow the bluder ledge, one 12-14 inches, two or three from 3-6 in thick. Never seen another the larger ledges. Black quarries Used for building stone, about west of Southern bridge on by way. Occasionally from bluder ledge, 5 inths & dykes. Hill sometimes worked before the beach quarries w/ &' w/ clined a railroad. Beach quarries next long after, two miles after; 77 hills & Hyde park on Madison road. Takes Madison & Hyde Park car, P.J. Delaney, 1768 & McWillie's North 3379 R. W.H. Mrs Cox first quarried, Wayne, Armacoost & bulking quarrys, opened up in in 1867. Last quarry in 1887, Ernest Armacoost forty yrs old. Heavy building Turtle back came bellow the boulder ledge Better mine below.
