221. Alum Shale, S & J Pervilled abundant Regarded as Aethium 222. Top of Black shale about 1100 USGS judging from country levels. 86. Pervilled bed exposed outside by rock containing B. transpat. aestis. This contribute proof at 217, that Pervilled bed belong tr the Lexington limestone. 223. Harrodsburg shales to top of bluff. 224. From 223 to 224 only Harrod sburg is shown at top of bluffs, from about 1300 up. At 224 there is a little patch of Aethium limestone, 4 feet thick with Per- villed lying upon. 225. St Louis L. in place, at very crest of bluff = 3 ft. Rockcastle conglomerate fossils, 226. The Aethium bed is well exposed along the road, near the road junction, Near 1270. {11'2" Aethium bed, chiefly massive limestone but with layer interstratified exposed. Rock may be clayey, 4'8" Aethium bed, chiefly clay, same L, {11ft B & R's ledge, massive limestone. 7'11" Clay 6 ft B and R's bury ledge L. 6'6" Chester A and R's bury L. 15'1" Harrodsburg lower half weather sandy. 2'1" Chester massice, 16'1" Harrodsburg, very massive. 20'1" Ordovician ns, Harrodsburg. 42'1" Harrodsburg 16'1ft. London road in front of station. Harrodsburg L, there has good fossils for collecting, not skipped. Top of Black shale is about 8 ft below or RR level, 227. Face of Linnetta ledge 1020 a comatate USGS. 228 - Blue grey sand ST Gmina L 15'1" sort of sandy L weather- ing 228. Maybe St Gmina. 1250 {15 ft Aethium limestone, USGS it under lying L. Rockcastle conglomerate fossils are abundant. 76-77. E den thickness up to blance limestone at top, in above cliff sandy layers 4'6" 1/2 ft Secotan Ledge. Top of bed not seen Seden.
