Top of ridge North endy Runch 334 Chert Leds, just by Piedmont Church Road off Runch Branch, leaves Runch B'ch at nr., goes NE up creeks. Rocks are almy m'tl creek all the way. Septana opened about half way to top of Water Chert leads roughly but short 33 feet 4 with a X near chest of Steele; This section very steep section has 179. Amrad from junction C.T. to Ercalty 68 on the Danville Stone and pike = Dev. chert at topy hills, 180. Dor. chert, an argill rock with plat pondera, Partally upper Maysville. yoc, 81, On this upper level there are large limestone horizons later widely seath and cast suggest that revert to the materials may be ss. farm gate (Partially considerable so, 38 1/2 ft. intervals with some exception, 85 1/2 ft total, down to T 11 1/2 ft reddish cl. at various intervals, & many the layers 5 ins thick. Plact and rutes C.C. Dalea multirzeta a rare 5 1/2 ft. Fine grained arg. hard rock? and, intubbed with frondiforus lags. Rafinergumna c Tricmlens Plact and rutes cc Calymene bryozoans, c Dalea multiseta 5 1/2 ft. Thin "sandy" and thus red fossil rocks, Plact and rutes C, CC, Tricmlens Zygozprine wardenta, Dal. multise eta, r. Pentaculites, oropris chalky, and fine vertical shales, Rafinergumna 5 1/2 ft. Percentage of "sandy" layers larger Dal. multiseta rarh rare, bryozoans Tricmlens Rafinergumna 2 ft red l. layers very 3 1/2 ft sandy layers) Plact and rutes: Dal. multiseta boson. 5 1/2 ft. Some red l. but "sandy" layers predominati Rafinergumna Zygozprina c. Dal.multiseta, mimum.
