RIBBLE, D.O. 1980 Journal (9) Hastings Reservation, Monterey Co., CA. Trapline st. 15# Spp. sex, age, breeding June 6 (cont) IV 10 # 194 P. boylii ?, mature nonbreeding. RECATURE. Escaped into hollow log II 10 1959 P. californicus, o?, mature, nonbreeding. Dark tail tip 208-113-27-25. Escaped to log Finished checking traps at 11/5hr. Returned to pick up traps on Traplines I & II. The sun came out around 0930, and the temperature is about the same as yesterday (low 80's). After working on field notes, I reset the traps up on Haystack Hill. Caught a juvenile Brown Towee (?) in trap on Trapline III, #5. Reset traps on Trapline II, just changed by first adding an extra trap to each station (3 traps/station) and added 5 trap stations to each end with 3 traps/station. The line is now numbered from -4 to 15. Max temp: 70; Min temp: 49 June 7 Overnight weather: clear to partly cloudy, no moon, low 50's. Morning weather: Clear when I first woke. By 6:30 the clouds rolled in, resulting in overcast skies. Animals trapped (all marked & released) Trapline st.
