Caught under oak w/ shrubs under. Escaped to same area as 1929 2 1930 1/2 P. californicus F, mature, late pregnancy 212-107-26-23=30g, tawny, wide tail stripe as in 1929; 1930, reddish color under chin. Escaped to same area as 1929; 1930. White tail tip. 3 1933 P. californicus O?, sub (gray w/ some tawny) 199-109-26-24=20g, same as above species Escaped under log. 3 1932 P. californicus F, mature, pregnant 217-120-25-24, very slow recovery; escape, Escaped to stream bank. 4 1934 P. californicus F, mature, pregnant. 221-122-27-24 White tail tip. Escaped to east, stopped for ~ 2 sec to look behind me, then went under log. 6 1935 P. californicus O?, mature, nonbreeding 224-123-26-24. Tawny, with some golden brown. Escaped to stream bank. 7 8 1936 P. californicus O?, mature, non breeding 210-15/15-26-24. White tail tip. Same tail stripe as every one above. Escaped to stream bank. 9 1937 P. californicus O?, subadult, non-breeding 199-106-25-24 Gray with brown on sides. No distinct molt line. Escaped under log. 9. 1938 P. californicus F, subadult nonbreeding. 201-107-25-25 White tail tip. Gray with some brown on sides. White spot 15 mm up tail on ventral side. Escaped to S.W under log. Caught in same trap as 1939 below.
