Returned to spin one sample. Dec 17 Arrived at Hastings at 1415h. Will be here until 20 December to trap grids MC-1 and RC-1. This afternoon was mostly clear, calm, low f'o's. Set out 2traps per station at all stations on both MC-1 and RC-1. RC-1 is very wet, the soil is almost muddy. Finished setting traps by 1645. Sun sets around 1645 and it is completely dark by 1730h. 2030h-out checking traps on MC-1. It's calm, cool (50°), and slightly overcast. The moon is full & rising (10oclock u sky)-BRIGHT! Finished checking traps by 2145h ~ not much action Summary: P.californicus : 6 captures (3σ♂: 3♀) none new P.boylii : 5 captures (1σ♂: 4♀) " " P.truei : 2 captures (1:1) " " No Westoma ?
