Tail bulged ~15mm from base. 5 0120 P.boylii, o?, mature, non breeding ?CAUGHT IN SAME TRAP 5 0130 P.boylii ?, mature, vulva closed, [illegible] 6 0240 P.boylii, o?, mature, scrotal testes. Tail shortened (lost posterior tip) 7 0110 R.megalotis, ?, mature, pregnant (palpable), vulva perforate. Escaped under thngs? litter. 8 0300 P.boylii, ?, mature, vulva closed, nulliparous. 9 Dedit tag N.fuscipes. E. Walker. Escaped to N toward stream 10. 0700 P.boylii, o?, mature, testes swollen, but non breeding Finished 0910h. At 1000h set up Transect XI - Starts on west side of Arnold Rd; 1.7mi from highway (along rd distance). Runs up a arroyo for 6 stations, then transverse the hill side to Hcp. N,NW. Steep slope with live oak, bay trees, person oak, sycamoro, manzanita and deep leaf litter. 10 stations, 2 traps per, 10-15m spacing. @ 1100 h. set up Transect XII. At chaparral edge at top of Arnold Rd (0.2mi east of west Boundary). (South of rd) Transect followed edge of chaparral patch for 7 stations, then crossed road to small chaparral patch (W of road). Chaparral consists of chamise?, rabbitbrush Adenostoma and buckbrush. @1400h. set of Transect XIII in West Ravine 0.2mi from Highway along Arnold rd. 10 stations, 10-20m between stations, 2 traps per. Habitat is dominated by live oaks, person oak, and manzanita. Between the patches it is very grassy - All traps were placed in litter under trees. Several (~8) Adenostama middens are present. 1600 h. Reset Trapline X and added 10 stations, 5 to the furthest downstream station, and 5 which start around #7 and proceed up the slope then back across <--> line Today was another hot day, perhaps not quite as hot as yesterday.
