Her left eye is not functioning after last night's predation. This time I brushed her which seems to work well. I followed her escape for about 10m to the east, until I couldn't find any more powder. #1952 - redusted w/ green. Green was still visible on tail & ears particularly. Followed him down the side of the hill. He went past a "maduro" then back up to it & sat on the ground. I startled him and he leaped 2m down but returned to a hole by the tree which I flagged. saw a boylii above station while doing this #758, ?, had orange on all limbs & whiskers (station 9,6) Around 0300, the amount of audible activity seems to have declined. #740 ?? had orange all over - limbs, ears, tail, penis, dorsal side. Captured at 9,8, right next to where 1991 was tracked #1934 - redusted w/ RED at station B,12 , 0454 hr. I could only follow her trail 5m from station. Caught #767, N. fuscipes again @ B,13, 0500 hrs. #1994, ?, had red on limbs & around mouth at B,14 #1935, caught @ B,14, line green still visible!, but didn't redust. * Also had red on nose & limbs; could be from grass on ground. (See Grid data for results & summary below) Finally... finished checking traps at 0540. The moon is < 1/2 full, there is a thin layer of low clouds in the west. Began checking traps on Trapline VIII at 0600 hrs - Trapline st No SPA VIII 1 0100 (toedip) P. boylii ?, late subadult, non breeding 1 D(unt)Tag N. fuscipes , mature 2 0110 P. boylii , ?, mature, vulva perforate ; parous 2 0120 P. boylii , ? mature, perforat & parous - Tail shortened 4 0140 P. boylii ?, mature, testes swollen some, but not scrotal 5 0130 P. boylii, ?, early mature, non breeding 6 0100 R. megalois, ?, mature, scrotal testes.
