Apr 30-89. Estevan Water Co, NY 41053-A 3 East bank of creek 1/2 m below lead shields. At x there is a shaly layer very thin, fissile, contains a few fossils. In 3E are a number of breads of a Phacops? Strophomena magnificens? Leptocrinita labellites, a Lamellibranch some small spirifers like S. fimbriatus and numerous other forms. Going up creek the following sections were made out- 3E 3d 10 ft. barrier Lower part fissile 6 in. 1 ft. 2ft. 3 3a' 3b' 3a' 3a 3a 14" fossils barrier fissiferous + flint fossils. 3 3a = contains Spirifera auctecta + Platystoma. It is separated from 3 by a thin shaly layer. Heavily bedded Upon 3a lies a sandy layer containing agm fossils.
