1076 P2 The point where B3 is exposed is about directly south of B1 and about 1 1/2 miles from it (by air line) B3 is the last ledge on the East Shore. Cooked our dinner on the North end of the island and then paddled over to Soccation Stream. 67 June 12-89 A 1076 C Soccation Stream. C1 is a ledge under water about 3 1/2 miles above the lake. C2 on the right bank about 300 ft below C3 - A dark fissile shale without fossils dip 75° N20W C3 forms the first fall - a ridge across the stream - Shale - dip 75° N20W strike W 20 S thickness about 20 ft - C About 4 miles above the lake. C4 on left bank 1/2 mile above first fall - a ledge in woods about 50 ft back from the stream. Same rock as C2. C5- 1/4 mile further up. same rock - barren - dip 90° N.
