The contuted beds of the arnnd at one series above the sliph. I can't cover zone alon of well at the creeks. I mi' and 1½ miles west of the Lem's Cr line in the Cabin creek brad. The first creek leads up to Rockerville. The second creek is followed by the Mays ville forks. The contuted layer shows up well also on east side of RR bridge east of Springsdale a considerable distance above the railroad. Put's mouth, Pluto 6,7,8. Maraly clay for paning bricks. Peables Cr. 3 mi. E of Putem mt center. Visited Adams fire brick Cr Peables paning brick 3 mi E of Putem mths. 432½ 20 ft the fly SS. weathering friable, 412¼ 22 ft pretty exposed, 390¾ 7½ ft middle of 16 inch coal pool. 383 5 ft No 2 clay softer than No 1 white clay. 78-378 Base of No 2 clay. This is soft **374 ft pretty exposed since 330 330 Rather 2½'d freestone for 5 ft. [slant rather] hard 308 Mine freestone sets in.
