These jays were observed commonly at the Cold Creek Ranch 4000 ft., Watson-
mann Canyon North of San Bernardino,
San Bernardino Co., Calif., associating
with the California jays in the
chaparral.

A few of these jays were observed
around Dylwild 6000 ft., and also
at Palquitz Valley 8000 ft., San
Jacinto Mts., Riverside Co., Calif.
