Moore Spilogale phoenicimicroskina Hall. September 2, 1929. Two no. O steel traps set about Twelve feet apart, on opposite sides of the stream, under a bridge on the Cold Creek Ranch, 7,000 ft., Water- mann Canyon N. San Bernardino, San Bernardino Co., Calif. caught a male, and a female spotted skunk. One trap was baited with a fink, and the other with a chicken egg. Oct 26, 1929. The badly decomposed body of a spotted skunk, was found in the watering trough at Warrens Well 2800 ft., San Bernardino Co; 22 1/2 mi. N.E. of Whitewater Station Riverside Co. California. The carcass had the appearance of being about a month old.
