Mr. C.F. Smith of Crafts, Calif.,
reports seeing a weasel cross the
road while travelling between
Big Bear Lake, and Redlands.
The weasel was seen at Running
Springs Park at Mt. San Ber-
nardino Ints., San Bernardino Co.,
Calif.
September 2, 1929
Mr. Dahl, owner of the Cold Creek Ranch,
Waterman Canyon, N. of San Bernardino
San Bernardino Co., Calif., reports obser-
ing a weasel run under a stone
bridge on his ranch at 4000 ft.

Redlands, Mt. San Bernardino Co.,
California.
Mr. H.B. Thomson shot a weasel,
a male, near a colony of ground squirrels
(Citellus), and while retrieving the
specimen, the female was also seen,
but could not be procured. The pelage
of the male appeared rather worn
and ragged.
