Moore Parus gambeli August 25, 1929 A few individuals were observed scrutinizing the tips of Tamarack branches for insects, on the south margin of the meadow at Bluff Dale, San Bernardino Mts., 7400 ft., San Ber- nardino Co., Calif. September 8, 1929. Chickadees were observed from the vicinity of Tahquitz Valley 8000 ft. to Tamarack Flat 9300 ft. on the trail built to San Jacinto Peak trail.
