Balds 1960 Amphispyra lilicata Oct. 25 Eside Isla Ceralro, Baja Calif., Mexico - Very duneast, ranking with the Snatotle + A.T. Flycatcher, probably more than latter. Seen to be always in pairs (at least in 2's). Two birds collected but one in such bad shape I discarded it. Skull oss pattern - 2... @1st. Oct. 26 Heard several of these birds. Collected one in juvinal plumage. Its skull was ossified (2-lags) occipitally only. Oct. 27 In late afternoon found a group of at least 4 of these birds. Shot me Oct. 28 Seen in groups of 2 to 6 or more. This is probably the most common bird here, but is not particularly conspicuous. Oct. 29. Seen commonly again.
