Today Bob shot a Costa H., which did not have all the blue on crown + throat. It had great layers of subcutaneous fat [illegible]. The skull was ossified only occipitally. Oct.29 Took one bird today, in plumage similar to the one mentioned before. This one, however, weighed over 1 gram less and had no fat.
