Banks 1960 Wyadestes townsendi June 16 1 mi W Crescent Lake, Klamath Co., Ore. - A bird flushed from the side of the road near me. Found it's nest under a projection of the road bank. There are 4 eggs, pale ground color with reddish-brown splotches, most concentrated near the large end. The nest appears to be mainly old pine needles, and sits in a hollow so the top is at ground level. The nest seems large, in that the eggs do not nearly fill the bottom of the cup [illegible] 1 1/2 ft. road level
