Tree Swallow - very noticeable, but not common at lakes.
Gray Jay - a family V of Elkh Lake
Raven - Sparks and Todd Lakes - perhaps same individual.
Clark Nutcracker - pair seen at Sparks Lake.
Mountain Chickadee - common everywhere responding to
Red Breasted Nuthatch - pygmy call, most abundant 2 species.
Robin - common in all meadows.
Mountain Bluebird - several pairs seen along road only.
Townsend Solitaire - thought I heard note of this, not sure.
Hermit Thrush - fairly common in deep forest; const. P.O. sites.
Ruby Crowned Kinglet - common + widespread.
Golden Crowned Kinglet - seen at Todd Lake, for a few.
Auricular Warbler - widespread, but not abundant.
Brewer Blackbird - small groups at meadows near
lakes; most abundant at Wine Mdw.
Brown Headed Cowbird - pairs or trios at Sparks and Elkh
Lakes. Couldn't get one. Mix with Brewer Blackbirds.
Heard also at Wine Meadow.
Western Tanager - fairly common and widespread.
Carpodacus sp. - singing in camp, and at Wine Mdw.
Red Crossbill - 2 or 3 at Wine Meadow.
Pine Siskin - common + widespread; mostly in flocks.
Oregon Junco - fairly common, widespread.
Chipping Sparrow - " " , in edges.
Fox Sparrow - heard on several occasions.
Song Sparrow - one tentative near Todd Lake.
