Journal 29 March Colorado River, pp. Ft. Mohave, 530 ft., Clark Co., Nevada. The bank is about 5 ft. high. The river is clear, fast, and apparently deep. After establishing camp we took a nap to recover from our all-night drive. Set up around 4 p.m.. I shot a Myiarchus cinerascens in camp. Ned + I each set 20 traps (10 man. spe. +10 rat traps) and had supper at 5. Tried to hunt bats, but no bats; heard some later. Also tried to run down a Bubo virginianus, without success. Then came and wrote notes. Very cold this evening.
