Piniola enucleator
July 9
Kaiser Pass Meadow, 9160 tft., Fresno Co., Calif.
Obtained one bird from a group of 4 or 5
which I surprised while feeding on the
ground at a slightly high & dry place in
the meadow, near the edge. This bird's
throat was full of very small seeds, it
was a ♀, but with small testes. 689.
