Bartholomew 1941 Thoronaya bottae July 27 Middle Cr, 8000 ft, White Mts, Esmeralda Co, Nevada No. 16 ♀ was caught in a mousetrap placed on the edge of a marshy meadow on fallen leaves underneath Populus trichocarpa. There were no gopher diggings which could be found within a radius of 30 feet. The only moist area was of course along the stream. The sides of the canyon are rocky and covered with sagebrush and Pinus monophylla and occasional ephedra.
