E.M. Brock 1958 July 13 Barrow, Alaska While out on an A.B.L. expedition, Pete Sovalik shot a bearded seal. According to Max Brewer the skin and meat is usually divided among the eskimos working at the lab. The skull is usually broken as the head usually serves as the target when the animal is in the water. This individual weighed 207 lbs
