Raising of youngs

One of two remaining youngs found dead
in tubarium and partly eaten, #641 ♀
95-15-18-9-10.0g 37 days old
For some reason or another the one
remaining young was in the afternoon
seen going into fits and slowly died.
It seems funny that no ill effects
were noticed on the young ones when
I "disturbed" their aggregation on the 18th.
I searched the area to find out how many
lemmings were still alive. Apparently they
were doing alright until I disturbed them-
not physically. As mentioned above one died
during the night, the other this afternoon. This
same situation seems very reminiscent of
previous deaths among my lemmings.
Perhaps they are extremely sensitive to
disturbances. The only difference that I can
think of is in diet - until yesterday Ingrid!
has been feeding them just grass, yesterday
I provided them with cabbage and lettuce;
