Raising of young

the five young died soon afterwards.
They were removed before they
were eaten by the living lemmings
Weights on these nine unwaned
very brown-red lemmings follow:
5.7g 6.0g 6.4g
6.4g 6.1g 6.4g
5.3g 6.0g 6.2g
They are fully haired toes well separated
some have eyes a little open some unopen.
Information does not present on whether
they are all one litter
Aug 1
All four weighed, all are very active
agile and healthy, weights are: 10.7,
11.6, 11.8 and 12.1 grams.

Weight of four lemmings! 12.3g
12.9g), 13.5g and 14.8 g.
For some reason or another one of the
young ones started dying in the
afternoon. Slowly started having fits
until it "wore out". All four were
perfectly healthy this morning - it seemed.
