E.M. Brock 1958 Red poll June 25 Atkasuk, Mead River Coal Mine, Alaska Red polls have been noticed in the willows in and around the area of transect II. June 27 About four miles upstream on the Mead River were the willows line the banks in abundance, we noticed the red polls as very common. Tom and I had taken a boat trip to this vicinity from our base camp back at Atkasuk June 29 Red polls were noticed as common in the willows lining the banks of the river next to the village. Two were collected today and prepared as study skins. July 14 Barrow, Alaska One pair of red pollos in oil drum dump in back of A.R.L. One collected and prepared as study skin. Aug 25 Pitmeza River, Cape Sabine, Alaska Many red polls seen in willow brakes along tributaries into the Pitmeza
