Longspur
July 4 Barrow, Northern Alaska
Two young chicks, each at a different
location were seen hopping along the ground.
These were observed about half way between
ARK and the Post-Rogus monument.
July 16 Not mentioned June 27 now vacant
July 30 A check of 300 snap traps having
been left out 24 hours revealed
a catch of 88 longspurs, mostly
juveniles. All checks of traplines
recently have been yielding large
numbers of longspurs.
