F.M.Brock 1958 Yellow wagtail June 25 Athasek, Mead River Coal Mine, Alaska Several yellow wagtail were seen flying about outside the warigan. One was shot and prepared as a study skin. June 30 Nest with four dirty brown eggs found on a walk north of the village. The nest was located inland about 100 feet from the edge of a bluff next to the Mead River. The bulk of the nest is made of grass with a thick lining of caribou hair and a few feathers. Nest placed in a recess and over-hung by blooming cascades as well as some willow and berry bushes. Dugas also nift to the nest
