Arctic Tern
July 17 Pitt Point, Alaska
to 300 feet from shore. We drove up
to the island in an H.V.T. The nest had
one egg in it. Also on the island was a duck's
nest with two fresh eggs very recently broken.
Aug 16 Wainwright, Alaska
watched terns flying overhead by shore,
dive, hit the water near the shore and
come up with fish.
